THE BEGINNING

STORIA D’AMORE began long before it had a name.

It began with a woman named María Ana.

My grandmother was an italian seamstress. Her sewing machine was always running. Her hands were always working. And her creations were everywhere in our home: dresses half-finished on the table, spools of thread in every colour, the quiet concentration of someone who believed, deeply, that what you wear matters.

She kept a notebook. Inside it: hand-cut paper patterns, fabric ribbons sewn onto the pages, pencil sketches of dresses she was designing. A cover she drew herself — scissors, a mannequin, a measuring tape, a little fashion magazine called "Chic Modas." She never finished it. Life moved on, and the notebook stayed behind, mid-chapter.

I found it years later. And something in those unfinished pages stayed with me.

I grew up watching her work, not knowing that one day I would carry that same love of fabric and feeling into something of my own.

For a long time, the idea of creating my own brand stayed a dream. I knew what I wanted: something soft, romantic, made with real care.

The kind of dresses I couldn't find anywhere. So eventually, I decided to make them.

STORIA D’AMORE - which means "love story" in Italian - was born from all of that. From María Ana's hands. From the belief that every woman deserves to feel like a princess, not just on special occasions, but whenever she chooses.

Each piece is designed by me and crafted in small quantities with a trusted atelier. We work with carefully selected fabrics - crêpes, satins, tulles, chiffons - chosen for the way they move, the way they feel, and the way they hold their shape over time. Nothing is made in a hurry. Nothing is made to be disposable.
